  • We appreciate your interest in our affiliate program! This program allows you to earn money as you share products aligned with your faith. We are excited provide bloggers and influencers with quality products to share with their Latter-day Saint followers.

    Earning Potential

    Affiliates in our program earn 10% commission from every referred sale, plus 2% commission from affiliates you recruit to our program. You also earn a $50 cash bonus or a $100 product credit for each affiliate you recruit. Affiliates are paid monthy based on the payment threshold ($100, $250, $500, $1000, or $2000) set during the application process on the first Monday of each month.

    Q: What is an affiliate program?
    An affiliate program is a system that is set up for website owners, bloggers, and influencers to be able to earn money by referring their followers to our website. When your follow makes a purchase, you'll receive a commission on the total amount of the sale, minus any discounts and shipping charges.

    Q: Can I create my own banners?
    Absolutely! We encourage bloggers and website owners to design banners that fit the design/look/feel of their website. We ask you to represent our company and product in a professional manner. Please keep in mind copyright laws and be aware that if at any time a banner violates any copyright laws, your affiliate account will be suspended.

    Q: Will you make a banner for my website or social media account? If you are interested in promoting a specific product, or need a specific size banner, please contact us at affiliates@ldsbookstore.com.

    Q: Do you have banners that I can use?
    Yes! We have created a collection of professionaly design banners in a variety of sizes that have been designed to highlight our products in a professional and engaging way. These banners are available within your affiliate dashboard once you're approved.

    Q: At what point does a sale get credited to my affiliate account?
    Commissions are credited to an affiliate once the order has shipped to the customer.

    Q: What happens if a customer cancels an order?
    In the case that an order is cancelled for a refund, commissions will be deducted from your affiliate account. If a product is exchanged, you will still receive affiliate credit.

    Q: How do I view how much I have earned?
    To view your current affiliate balance, simply login to your affiliate dashboard here.

    Q: Are there any sign up fees for your affiliate program?
    Nope! Our affiliate program is free to all website owners and social media admins that are approved for the program.

    Q: How do I become an approved affiliate?
    Simply submit your application for approval. Upon approval, you will receive an email with login information and your unique affiliate link.

    Q: Can I advertise on social media?
    Absolutely! You can advertise anywhere you include affiliate link.

    Q: How do I get paid?
    We make payments to affiliates that have reached their payment threshold on the first Monday of each month. These payments are made via Venmo, Paypal or Check.

    Q: Are websites outside of the USA eligible for the affiliate program?
    Yes. Individuals in other countries are welcome to apply for our affiliate program. International affiliates can only receive payment via PayPal or Venmo.

    Q: What kind of website would not be approved for an affiliate account?
    Websites that contain false or misleading content, sexually explicit materials, promote violence, illegal activities, or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, age or violate intellectual property rights will not be approved. Websites must be aligned with the values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

    Q: My affiliate application was declined. Is there anything I can do to become eligible?
    We reserve the right to decline applications if we feel that the website or social media account does not align with the values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Approved accounts that do not continue to align with these values may also be suspended.

    Q: If a customer uses a coupon, do I receive commission on the full price?
    No. Commissions are only paid on the total amount collected, minus shipping, coupons, and other discounts.

    Q: How does your program track if a someone clicks my affiliate banner?
    We place a non-intrusive tracking cookie on the browser of the individual that clicked your link. Affiliates receive a commission if that individual makes a purchase within 30 days of their first visit.

    Q: I have more than one website, do I have to sign up for an affiliate program for each website?
    No. We do require listing any websites or social media platforms you plan on using with our affiliate program in your application.

    Q: Is there a limit to how much I can earn?
    Absolutely not! We would never want to restrict your earnings.

    Q: Can I participate in other affiliate programs?
    Absolutely. We are a non-exclusive affiliate program.

    Q: Is there a minimum sales requirement to remain an affiliate?
    Nope. However, a minimum of $100 in earned commissions is required to receive a payout.

    Q: Do I have to have a business license to become an affiliate?
    Nope. You are welcome to apply as a business or an individual.

    Q: Do I have to pay income tax on my affiliate earnings? Yes. Individuals earning affiliate commissions are required by United States law to pay taxes, and we are required by law to submit a form 1099 to the IRS. Click here for more info.     Q: How long does the approval process take? The approval process can take up to 2 week.

    Q: Can I close my affiliate account? Affiliates can close accounts through their dashboard, or send an email to affiliates@ldsbookstore.com to terminate their affiliate account..
