This was a blessed little miracle for me. I actually had a different painting planned, a full length image of the Savior and several children. But after a careful review of my reference, I found a close-up that seemed to capture everything I wanted to say. The tender look of admiration in the child?? eyes... I think it captures the feeling we all want to have, close, comforted, and reassured of His protection and love. ~ Jay Bryant Ward
