Audio of Truman Madsen’s JOSEPH SMITH the Prophet.

Everything Truman Madsen writes or records is excellent. I hope LDS bookstore continues to provide us copies of these cds for the future. It is very difficult already to get audios of The Presidents of thee Church. These audios are especially wonderful for people with memory or hearing issues. We are new members if the church and my husband has early Alzheimer’s disease. These cds are a wonderful blessing to him.

We love listening to the stories of Joseph Smith. Great for road trips! My hubby especially enjoys playing these for the youth on trips to scout camp and the temple. The youth seem to enjoy it.

Finally found it!

I heard these discourses many years ago and have been unable to locate them until recently. I love to hear the about the in-depth facts of the early church history and Joseph Smith. It has helped strengthen my testimony and has opened my eyes to the trials that the Prophet Joseph endured. You will have a new found respect for the Prophet after listening to these discourses by Truman G. Madsen. His presentation is brilliant and full of life. One of the best orators of our time by far!

I have listened to to these lectures many times while traveling and always gain a deeper understanding of the greatness of Joseph and his sweetheart Emma.

Truman Madsen's Lectures on Joseph Smith the Prophet

Truman Madsen has done extensive research on the history and major events in the Prophet Joseph Smith's life. If this is the same as the cassette version I bought about 20 years ago, there are 8 different talks entitled "First Vision and Its Aftermath," "Spiritual Gifts," "Joseph's Personality and Character," "Joseph Smith and Trial," "Kirtland Temple," "Doctrinal Development and Nauvoo," "Teacher, Speaker, Counselor," "Last Months and Martyrdom." I have listened to these numerous times and never tire of hearing them again. I am glad they are still available to the public. I highly recommend this lecture series to anyone.
