The alligator texture is a bit shiny for my taste, but it's not over-the-top bling. I like the plush fabric inside that protects the books.

Good color. It was the only case in red that I could find. However my older son has the same case in green and it's a bit older and starting to peel. So I know this material doesn't last too long.

Compact dark red Quad holder, on sale

This case for a compact quad was just what I needed for my personal prayer book. I measured my book, it said "should fit" and it fit great! I use it to carry my 'precious cargo' around to keep off dirt, grime and rain...and the price was great. This case was a dark burgundy with a reptile like pattern, fully lined with felt-like material and outer pockets.

The Regular Reptile Dark Red Tote color was not the same as pictured when it arrived. It is a much brighter red and ultra glossy. The scriptures barely fit in it. It is really tight fit and then hard to zip up. They are not usable for us and non-returnable. Very disappointed.
