Product Description:

This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. ~ Luke 22:19

The impact of the Last Supper has reached across two millennia. And for Latter-day Saints, the sacrament is a weekly reminder of its symbolism and the Savior's subsequent sacrifice. It was with deep symbolism that Christ took the bread, broke it, and offered it to his apostles; followed by the cup, which was also blessed and passed. The sacrament is a vivid reminder that our Savior willingly allowed his body to be bruised and his lifeblood shed in order that we might live. Perhaps the next time we take advantage of this wondrous gift, we will remember that ther was a brief moment in history when a carpenter's hands took bread and broke it. And perhaps we will remember the other, excruciating moment in which those same hands were pierced with nails as the Savior paid a debt for us that we could not pay ourselves. ~Simon Dewey

Last Supper

How amazing the details are in this picture of the Savior. As we look at you can see crumbs falling from the bread as the Savior breaks it. My husband and I are mangers of the bishops storehouse and have gotten one of these put up on one of the walls so patrons will see it as they come in! It would amazing!!!!
