In this print by Simon Dewey, the Savior sits peacefully beside a calm river. It was inspired by Psalm 23, which references Jesus Christ leading us to still waters. If you find life is hectic or struggle with anxiety, this print can help remind you to find peace through Christ. It is available in two different print sizes.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. ~Psalm 23:1-4
This image was used on the front cover of the April 2000 Ensign magazine, and for many, it was the first time they saw my artwork. "The Living Christ" proclamation was the first article in the magazine and I thought it such an honor to have my artwork shown on that particular issue. I painted this image to show the Savior with his rod and staff that comfort us in our times of need. ~ Simon Dewey
