It's a wonderful resource BUT the illustrations are so disconcerting that I can't bring myself to read it to my children. The Nephites are WHITE, looking like they came straight out of Provo, and the Lamanites are BROWN, wearing feathers and crazy haircuts. Add a Church we've been trying to undo the idea that dark skin is a curse from God. A Church distributed book depicting this exact thing keeps perpetuating this false idea and teaches racism at a young age. PLEASE update the illustrations! (They are pretty hideous regardless)
