There are very few images of Saint Joseph and the baby Jesus and this is one of the most tender and warm representations. THANKS a killon.

I wanted a picture of St. Joseph holding the baby Jesus and there are not many. When I saw this picture it was exactly what I wanted. "Joseph's Song" written and sung by Michael Card tells how St. Joseph must have felt the first time that he held Jesus, the Son of God. This picture captures the love that St. Joseph had for the newborn baby and ties in with the words to the song. Simon Dewey created an outstanding painting. Thank you, Simon.

I love this picture! There are so many pictures of Mary and baby Jesus, and Joseph include, but this is the only one that is just with Joseph. I love how he is cradling baby Jesus as I'm sure he did. I have bought it with two other pictures that make a nice set, In the Arms of Mary and For Unto Us A Child Is Born. I use the pictures as Christmas decoration. I wanted to get another sets for my kids to have also.

I have never seen a portrait of St. Joseph with the infant Jesus. It is so beautiful. We are gifting a copy to our newest nephew, "Joseph" :)

For men like me, who are trying to heal the connection between their adult self and the baby they once were, this is a great source of inspiration. I particularly like that there are no haloes or anything that makes them special. This could very easily be an ordinary man showing a deep love for an ordinary child. I like that connection to everyday life.
