Excellent book. Very informative and very easy to understand. Elder Packer's ability to deliver these inspirational messages leaves no room for doubt that the temples are sacred, pure, and holy. I was especially moved in reading chapter entitled 13 "We saw the Lord" It was almost as if I was in the room with Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery when the Lord appeared to them to say He accepted this building, His name shall be there, and He will manifest Himself to His people in mercy in this house.. He then introduced Moses, Elias and Elijah who conveyed priesthood keys. Thus the motion was set to provide a multitude of temples around the world as a safe and sacred ground to conduct our holy ordinances and endowments as instructed.



Each chapter has its own message about our LDS Temples. This book will be my bedside companion for a while.
