I love it! I can't wait to be able to use it in Primary. The small compartment can be used to put a printed out folded Book of Mormon scripture that can be read by a child in Primary.
These little plates are great. I use them in Primary Singing Time to help practice songs. One child hides the plates while another child finds them with the Primary singing softer or louder depending on how close the child is to finding them. They are the perfect size. If they were bigger they would be harder to hind. There is a compartment you could put a key or something small. Great purchase.
My children loved hiding them and finding them.
FIVE STARS. I PLAN TO USE IT IN A SERVICE THIS SUNDAY.
I am giving them as gifts to my Sunbeams. :)
A little smaller than I was expecting.
Neat little toy of the golden plates. It has two "leaves" and then a lid to a small compartment. The books of the Book of Mormon are listed on the leaves, but "Jacob" is misspelled as "Jabcob". The other "writtings" look like reformed Egyptian, but definitely could be a pretend language. Only gripe is that the three rings are very thin and if a child gets impatient, the connections could break. Definitely not for toddlers. Tip: in order for the leaves to fit on the top, the lid must be completely closed.
My great grand children love these plates. They pick them up move the plates over and pretend they are reading the plates. This has been a wonderful experience for me to share with each of them. They are ages 5,6, and 7.
Roughly what size are the golden plates figurine?
