With Halloween just around the corner, you may be wondering how to help your missionary celebrate without making things too spooky or dark. We understand that sometimes it can be difficult to decide what is “mission appropriate” and what isn’t when it comes to having fun on Halloween at the MTC or in the mission field. Luckily, we've worked hard to create a way for missionaries to participate in the fun of the holiday while still staying focused on the task at hand.
Recently we spoke with families with missionaries both present and past to learn more about what treats and small items a missionary would love to receive on Halloween. We were looking for a way to update our regular gift box to make it a little extra delightful. With all of the great input we received, we’ve now compiled the perfect box for your missionary over the Halloween holiday!
Our Missionary Halloween Gift Box includes a variety of classic Halloween candy including a 1 lb bag of candy corn, a handful of treat sized candies, and some fun items for your missionary and the families they teach. Since missionaries get a lot of food, especially in the MTC, we wanted to update our gift box so there are some practical items in there as well.
We’ve included a sticky hand toy they can give away, as well as a small Jack-O-Lantern stress ball for those days that are a bit more difficult than others. We've also included in our Missionary Halloween Gift Box a small Preach My Gospel Pocket Card that can be easily shared or kept in their bags for a quick reminder or reference when they are going about the work.
So this Halloween, check out our great gift boxes to help make the day of your missionary a little more festive, and a little more fun! Click the link here to see our gift boxes. We’ve also thrown in a coupon code in this blog post, just to say thanks for reading. Use PBCUP at the checkout to get a free Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup in your Halloween Gift Box!
