This red & blue scripture marking pencil is popular for primary groups, youth groups, seminary & institute students, and families holding regular scripture study. The double ended pencil makes it easy to color code different themes or topics.
I got a couple of these to pair with a gift of new simulated leather quad scriptures. I remember using these in seminary all the time! I love how they have red and blue, because I prefer to color code my scripture marking. They mark clearly, and they have definitely proven to be a great tool for everyday study. Just remember to have a separate scripture pencil eraser, as these pencils don't have one. I don't think that will be a huge problem. I also like how these pencils don't require you to apply a ton of pressure. They're softer leaded pencils meant to be used without a whole ton of force or scribbling. I doubt anyone will, but it's something I thought I would put out there. I'm thinking of buying a few more for myself as well plus a few other things for my gift stash.
Great little pencil for making the important (to me) and the relevant scriptures. Reading the books again with my red and blue highlights will be a wonderful reminder of what I was seeing the first, second...times.
It was nice to find this pencil to mark the scriptures. Easy to use and to be carried.
I like that it's double sided. Easy to write with. Durable.
these will be perfect stocking stuffers
Love these scripture pencils. I love having the red and blue to mark different things.
I love these marking pencils for my scriptures. I've bought them for my primary class for the children to keep in their scriptures. They are great to have on hand in your scripture case and always ready to make your mark.
This is just what I need it to be! They make a great birthday gift for Primary kids, especially as we are learning about searching the scriptures.
Low price but very high quality
The pencils are very nice. I like the fact that the colors are at both ends. I do not have to look around for the other color. My only problem is that the blue could have been a shade lighter.
I purchased these as a reward that our Primary children can claim by showing the presidency a page from their General Conference notebook or coloring book the Sunday after conference weekend. They arrived pre-sharpened and ready to go. I like the two-color option, which gives flexibility without being overwhelming for those just learning how to mark their scriptures meaningfully.
They work well for intended purpose
