Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. ~ Luke 1:30-31

There are many paintings of Mary and the baby Jesus. What makes this image different for me is that I painted it along with an image of Joseph and Jesus and was able to find some new parents and a beautiful young baby that could model for Joseph, Mary and Jesus. There was something very special in filming this genuine earthly family. I loved the true tenderness that was expressed between the three of them which made it very easy for me to translate the photographs into what I hope are tender and touching paintings. ~Simon Dewey

The artist did such a fabulous wonderful job. I think it was a superb idea for him to find an actual mother and father and baby. It is the best picture I have seen of mother Mary with baby Jesus and Joseph holding baby Jesus. You don't seem any photos of Joseph holding baby Jesus. Thank lds.com I have ordered three copies of each

This print of Mary and her newborn son is a inspiring print.

I bought this print to go with Joseph and Jesus. I have them hung side by side in my living room. This print is truly awe inspiring. The detail on the picture is wonderful. I have other pictures by this great artist. I think this print is one of the best.
