Although Christ was without sin, and therefore had no need to be baptized, he was our perfect example and was baptized by John to fulfill all righteousness. He wanted to show us how important it is to be born again of the water and by so doing demonstrated that He is willing to submit to the will of the Father to carry out the proper order of things. I wanted warm light to fall upon the Savior's face and for his heavenward gaze to have an expression of obedience and love for His father. ~ Simon Dewey
