We bought these scriptures for our daughter's baptism and she loves them. Great product. The only negative thing about them was the color was more brown than burgundy. Would still recommend.
This was for a young woman in our ward and she absolutely loved it. They even included a Russian character in her name as requested. It was significantly delayed due to COVID-19, but turned out great.

My son has been inactive for 30 years, and he lives 1,200 miles away. We spoke recently when he was struggling to hold his marriage together. I suggested he read the Scriptures and pray, but he said his wife (non-member) tossed them away when she became angry. So, I ordered the regular quad and had it sent to him. As I write this, he is racing through the Book of Mormon.

Color and feel are both good. I wasn't sure of simulated as my last set was real leather, but it's nice. The pages seem a bit thin but maybe that's just how they are all made. I love how there are a lot more tabs to find the books easier than my last set had. Huge plus!
I got these for my daughter who turned 8 and was baptized. They are the perfect size and great quality. These will be cherished for many many years!
