Excellent

I have seen various editions of this magazine over the years, and it is wonderful for both Latter-day Saints and their friends.



I first encountered it about 1978. The newest Temple was Washington DC, and the magazine had a full-page picture of each Temple, including Kirtland and (old) Nauvoo. I home-taught a semi-active family with a two-year-old son. I would sit and visit with him and show him the pictures of the Temples. In a few weeks, he could identify each of them! The family became active, were sealed, and that little boy grew up and served a mission and now he has grandchildren and the whole family is strong in the Gospel.



I also gave a copy to a Jewish friend, and she enjoyed it.

I teach the temple preparation class in my ward. My student are primarily prospective missionaries who have received their mission call or are waiting for it to arrive.I give each student a copy of this. I like the variety of articles, and the many interior and exterior pictures of the temples throughout the world. I have no idea if my students read them, but they have for preparation and for future use.

As a wa5d mission leader, I provide a copy to my missionary teams to use when they start teaching investigators about the temple and the ordinances that are performed there. It really helps fire them up!

As a Ward Mission Leader, we are using these for our full-time missionaries when teaching investigators and less-active members. This clarifies the role of temples in Heavenly Fathers plan and reminds less-active members of the church of the covenants they may have made earlier

It's Ok. But if you are hoping by it title that the oversize magazine-booklet would show a photo of each of all the Temples of the LDS, sadly it does not. Don't buy it. However it does show a few full view of some Temples, and small photos of some, but not much. It does tell what the Temples are for and what goes inside. A few nice photos of the inside of a Temple. I feel this booklet is really about how to make the steps to be holy so that someday you would be able to go inside, and it goes from there. Also how to deal with non-Mormons on what and what not to say about the Temple. And yes it is all about the family in the Church, and in the Temple. It is not as I hope it would be, a picture book of all the Temples. I wish there was such a book and too, a DVD showing all the Temples.
