Mine was especially special because it was purchased for me by a family from my mission as a way for them to express to me their thanks for my service, and to show me how much I mean to them as a missionary, as they know already how much they mean to me. :) It's an excellent reminder for me every day of the 2 years that I spent in service to the Lord in a location that I love, and a reminder to me of the love that that family showed to me in particular, but also all of the other families that I care for immensely.

Our son is currently serving in Wisconsin. He told us his CTR ring broke, so we decided to get him a mission ring to replace it. He is going to love this ring! It will be a forever treasure!
