I use to wear the blue shield CTR ring, several years ago I broke my knuckle and had to remove the ring and have never been able to wear it since. My son is serving a mission and I wanted to put a visual reminder on my hand. I came across this open shield design and fell in love with the rose gold option. It is true to size, fits wonderfully, and is so pretty.
I've been wearing it for a few weeks now, a little over a month, and the top edges are starting to show silver which I assumes mean the paint is coming off. Its a solid ring, very pretty, but let that be a determining factor for you.
Lovely ring, looks just as pictured. As a preschool teacher, I don't want to wear my wedding rings and get playdough in them. I wear this instead and because of the affordable price, I'm not worried if I lose it.
Have this to my daughter as a gift when she left on her mission. Love the simple style. Fit perfect
It’s great! I never take it off. It’s comfortable to wear and even though it’s just the shield it’s a great conversation starter with non members and a reminder for me. Plus it’s a bit trendy too.
I joined the church as an adult, so never got a a CTR ring as a child. This ring means so much to me and is a daily reminder that I am a child of God and I will choose the right!

I love the rose color and daintiness of this open design, understated ring. I came to this site hoping to find the same ring I lost (purchased elsewhere but unable to locate again). This was a nice substitute. However, the reason I lost the previous ring is because it had become a bit tight and I took it off so I didn't know what size to buy. I used the paper sizing tool and it was way too big. Exchange was simple so it was OK but after trying a ring sizer at Deseret Book and ordered accordingly it was still probably 1/2 size too big - perhaps because it is so dainty. A narrow ring fits where a wide one doesn't sometimes. I am keeping this one thinking it would allow for occasional swelling but it is loose.
I absolutely love it- it's a lovely twist on a classic and it gets a lot of comments from non-members too and is a great conversation starter
