I love ordering missionary plaques from the LDS Bookstore. I especially love getting $5 off my next order when I leave a review.
I ordered two missionary plaques for previous missionaries who hadn't ever received one from their wards. They were both in Spanish, which I don't speak. The people at the store answered all my questions about ordering in Spanish, and when they were ready, these two missionaries were ecstatic! All the wording was correct, and they turned out perfectly. Plus these were very reasonable compared to other places who do missionary plaques. I recomment ldsbookstore 100%.
The name plate slid around either because the glue was too weak or because too little glue was used. Also, the stake/ward/state didn't quite fit on the engraved plate and therefore ran right up against the far right edge. Recommend reaching out to customer for guidance on shortening the words. Other than that everything looked great.
I ordered the gold trim for my sister in law and got a message for the bookstore saying they could not do the gold due to it being out of stock. They said they could do the silver trim or postpone the order to wait and worked with me to do the silver trim! They were amazing and made sure it still got to me the day before our missionary flew in! Perfect Timing even with the small hiccup and she absolutely LOVES it!
