I'm not quite sure of the garbage that Amanda speaks of on June 12th. Unless her son was rough with it, because I have yet to have any troubles with the compass on mine

Great tote-my son loves it. Only downside is the compass clasp is kind of weak and by the end of the first Sunday using them he had to just stow it in a pocket. Still great case though!

<p>I bought this for my son after his old tote ripped and was no longer usable. He loves it and it holds all his scriptures and paper and pens that he needs every week.</p>
