O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. ~ Matthew 26:39
Words fail when attempting to verbalize the enormity of the Atonement. Oh, the infinite wisdom of our Father in Heaven, to create this singular situation- with the knowledge that his beloved Son would be required to fulfill the plan in harrowing torment. As we marvel at his love and sacrifice, let us do as the Savior instructed his apostles in Gethsemane, and pray that we enter not into temptation. And in that prayer, let us declare as the Savior did, in humble submission, ??ot my will, but thine be done.??~ Simon Dewey
