Randy L. Bott is a former teacher of Brigham Young University. He earned his B.S. is psychology going to onto getting his M.S. & Ed.D. in education. He has been a bishop, high councilor, stake presidency counselor, as well as a mission president in Fresno, California. Randy married Vickie Pehrson in September 1969 and had three boys and three girls. They are now the grandparents to 14 children.
