Hope and Renewal

By Author of Seeds of Hope: A Journey Through Medication and Madness Toward Meaning on 7/16/2020
This book was recommended to me at a time when I was feeling spiritually stagnant. I found great hope and renewal in these beautiful visions, the images of which are ingrained in my mind. As you're reading it it's very immersive and feels very literal. But once finished you realize the beautiful symbolism and that it doesn't matter what is literal and what is not. The point is the messages Heavenly Father shared with Spencer about the last days. I now have much more peace about my own journey (and my family) in these trying times. I'm so grateful my friends recommended this book to me!

Dangerous Subject Matter

By PioneerSpringville on 6/12/2020
There are plenty of modern prophets who teach that sharing sacred details with ANYONE other than intimate family is wrong.
This writing is similar to that of Chad Daybell, Julie Rowe, Roger K. Young, etc; it’s a textbook definition of priestcraft.

Visions of Glory

By Kelli C. on 5/9/2020
Prayerfully read this book and remember that it is HIS vision and what the Lord chose to show HIM for his growth. That being said, I personally felt enlightened and uplifted and joyful at the thought of how the Second Coming "may" play out. And now that we've gone through a Pandemic and an Earthquake recently, I'm anxious to re-read this again and take better notes. I am a calm, be prepared for whatever comes, but live every day joyfully not in fear of what may come. This made me wake up and want to stay MORE anxiously engaged in good causes.

Visions of Glory

By Ron Pett on 2/2/2020
It took me about 12 months after purchasing this book, several years ago, before I started reading it. I was a little afraid to read it. However I'm on my 2nd reading. I read a great deal of personal book reviews before so I wasn't shocked. This book IS fantastic. But I tried telling my Bishop about the book, then backed off when I saw the look in his eyes. Love that guy and I didn't want to scare him in thinking I found a new religion. I have an intense testimony in the Gospel, in my faith of the Savior, Joseph Smith, and the Book of Mormon. But I have a better understanding of our life on earth and the life hear after. I told my sisters (and mom) about it several years ago. I told them to read as many reviews before they read it. 2 sisters are confused by it but youngest sister has read it multiple times. My advice: don't read it if you don't have a burning testimony of the Gospel...otherwise you want to read it.

Visions of Glory

it is a good book but a bit difficult to follow at times as the author changes from one place to another such a lot, needs to be read through a few times i think, to be better understood, also as the author is American and has American way of saying things, its a bit difficult to understand for me, being as im English!
