Priesthood blessings are given by the authority of the priesthood for healing, comfort, and encouragement.There are different types of Priesthood blessings but they always are done in this order: 1. Performed in the name of Jesus Christ. 2. Performed by the authority of the priesthood. 3. Performed with any necessary procedures, such as using specific words or using consecrated oil. 4. Silver consecrated oil vial

I liked that it is thin. It is for a key chain and you only need one drop of oil to administer to someone, so the thin size is good.
I liked that I could say the inscription I wanted on it. I liked individualizing it. I chose for it to say, “For the Household of Faith.” My son who will use this oil for the healing of the sick is a man of great faith who believes that blessings should be what the Lord’s will is, and not the “blesser’s” will. So the blessed and the blessed seek a blessing of healing within the confines of the Lord’s will.
I have seen unusual styles for consecrated oil vials and like the simplicity of this one.
The only thing I would have liked better about this is if there was a separate lidded container inside of it to further ensure that oil would not spill outside of the vial.
But there may be no problem with it and it could not have been as thin with a container inside.

Pleased and so is my son who received it as a Christmas gift to him.

Best oil vial design

This vial is simple. There are no frills, no gimmicks, no corny messages, just a vial that is there when you need it, and stays out of the way on your keys when you don't.

When I served a mission, I saw a lot of consecrated oil vial designs, and almost all of them broke at one point or another, except for these. I've carried this vial on my keys for years now, and I have had zero problems. It's scratched and worn, but it still works as well as the day I got it. One thing to be aware of is that when you close this vial, a little bit of oil leaks out, but it never leaks otherwise.

If you're looking for a good oil vial for yourself, another Melchizedek Priesthood holder, or a missionary, this is the one. They also sell it in brass, which is slightly heavier but stronger and will patina nicely. Just get it, it works.

Small vial provides its purpose

Nice looking & simple key chain oil vial. I like it does not have inside container as it saves another step. A oil vial model I had the oil evaporated from seal, so when I needed there was none. This oil vial is not like that and ready for use.

Silver Oil Vial

I bought this as a gift for my Home Teachers. They thought is was a very thoughtful and useful gift. I have not had any further input since I gave them the vial.

I have had two blessings from them. Neither had their consecrated oil and used mine after one of them had consecrated the oil for me.
