Name Embossing
Our hand-bound simulated leather quads let you add your name with embossing on the front. Note that this embossing does not include gold gilding on the name. Many of our hand-bound genuine leather Bibles also let you add a name on the front.

Cover Color
Genuine leather quads are grouped into color collections, so you pick a shade within a family of colors. Because the leather is dyed, natural variations in color are normal.
Choose from four shades of teal and turquoise. This quad includes thumb indexes and maps, plus two satin ribbons in your choice of color, and you can add up to five ribbons for a small fee. Customers especially love it as a gift for young women and newlyweds.
Ribbons, Headbands, and Tailbands
Ribbon markers are an easy way to add personality. Many of our hand-bound sets offer 12 ribbon colors, and you can usually add extra ribbons for a small fee; the number included and the maximum vary by set, so check the product page. Patterns, Spines, and Back Covers
If you want the spine and back cover to feel as special as the front, look at our patterned color scriptures. Some patterns carry the design onto the back cover or add a coordinating spine color, and our simulated leather quads feature an imprinted spine design. What to Decide Before You Order
Personalized scriptures are made just for one person, so a few minutes of planning helps avoid surprises:
- Exact name spelling: confirm the spelling with a parent or the recipient, especially for names with unusual spellings, hyphens, or accents. Decide whether to include a middle name or initial, and whether to use a nickname the person may outgrow.
- What the line of text says: on design sets, choose your text carefully, such as a name, a baptism date, a mission name, or a sealing date. Type it exactly as you want it to appear.
- Placement: on personalized design sets, decide between the standard bottom-right layout and a centered design.

- Color in person: leather can look different on a screen, so consider ordering swatches first.

This pre-made quad ships in 1-3 business days and comes with two white ribbons. Because it is already finished, it does not offer the same custom choices; if you want to make it your own, there is a personalized version available.
